Managed to get the worse possible start imaginable by dropping my chain in the first 10m meters of the race, and watching the group ride away. Once I got it on I must have been at least 600m behind the next rider. I went overdrive to catch back up and blasted through the majority of the field. I made my way back up to 10th place by the second lap but had gone too deep to go any harder and catch the others ahead. Frustrating race to have, but I limited my losses so on to the next one!
