First race back in months because of slow start to the season from the dreaded Covid and various injuries from training. Also, I was defending champ so the pressure was on. Was a bit of a shock riding at intensity in the early doors of the race so I suffered a bit. Got myself in a few breakaways, unfortunately none were successful and ended up in the bunch sprint for 10th. Wearing No. 1 on my back did feel pretty cool.
